Performances of note

The Waterloo Municipal Band has an extensive library which is located in the band office at the Center for the Arts in Waterloo, IA.

 

 

The Iowa Municipal Band Festival has been held during July annually since 1991. The event is held in the Herman Park Pavilion.

The Waterloo Municipal Band celebrated the 80th season in 2006 featuring selections from Broadway hits.

For many years Terry played Bass Clarinet with the Waterloo Municipal Band.  A versatile musician, in recent years he was a member of the trumpet section.  To learn more about Terry, click his picture.

Carla’s life revolved around music.  She played flute in the Waterloo Municipal Band, starting with the Iowa Bandmasters performance in 1994 and continuing for 13 consecutive summers.  To learn more about Carla, click her picture.

Selections heard on this website were recorded live in 1994 when the WMB was Honored Band of the Convention.
