Featured artists on this concert will be Jeffrey Brich faculty of the University of Northern Iowa and Melissa Brown, student of Leslie Morgan. They will sing the duet Brindisi from La Traviata and Dr. Brich will sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Dan Wardell of IPTV will greet the children at 6:30 with a fun presentation and also participate in the weekly children’s march, The Footlifter. Celebrating the anniversary of Leroy Anderson’s birth the band will perform Trumpeters Lullaby. Some of the songs in the Stephen Foster Medley are: My Old Kentucky Home, Ring de Banjo, Camptown Races and Oh! Susanna. The Ol’ Blue Eyes piece is an arrangement of Frank Sinatra hit tunes!
